I lead a happy but busy life with my family of six here in southern Italy (my background). I thought of accepting any and all lucca submissions but because of time limitations, maintaining a lucca website open to all is not realistic for me. So I am focusing on aphorists who, like myself, have been inspired in some way by Nietzsche.
This is a very loose requirement. Your aphorisms themselves need not be related in any way to Nietzsche's aphorisms or philosophy. Nor do you need to accept his whole philosophy. I have criticisms of him. He himself disliked "followers" and "believers".
If you haven't heard of Nietzsche or you don't like him, it doesn't matter. Read my page Luccas Are for Everyone to see how to simply set up your own lucca website or webpage.
To submit your lucca to Aphorist.info, send your aphorisms (even as few as 50) to my email address . The ones at the beginning should be your "best". Each of your aphorisms should be separated by the symbol * (asterisks).
If accepted, your "luccaph" will be hosted on Aphorist.info with its own page. You can update your luccaph once every three months by emailing me the updated luccaph. If you would like more independence or flexibility to update, you can put your complete luccaph on your own website or blog. I will put your "best" 10 aphorisms on my List of Aphorists page along the external link to your luccaph. My only requirement is that the webpage containing your luccaph be in the same simple format that I use here at aphorist.info. See an example here. The Free Luccaph Software can be used to easily format the page.
Aphorist.info is an absolutely non-commercial website. Luccaph's are designed to be freely distributed on the internet. When you allow your full luccaph to be hosted on aphorist.info you keep your copyright to it but you allow people to copy and share it, as long as they keep your name on it, make no commercial use of it and do not change it in any way. This is called a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License. If at any time you wish to withdraw your luccaph from aphorist.info, just send me an email.
